Mechanical watches rely on numerous physical components, so their accuracy may not match that of quartz movements. However, all BALTANY mechanical watches undergo meticulous calibration before shipment to ensure they operate within precision specifications exceeding those of movement manufacturers.


2,What factors affect the accuracy of a watch's timekeeping?

●Several factors, including temperature, activity levels, and power reserve, can influence a watch's performance.

Insufficient power reserve in mechanical watches can affect timekeeping accuracy. To ensure accurate measurements, it's advisable to wind the watch 20-30 times before timing.

When the battery of a quartz watch is depleted, especially below half its power reserve, accuracy can fluctuate.

●Damage due to impact

If a watch's balance wheel is damaged due to impact, it may run fast or slow, requiring repair or adjustment.

●Magnetization

If a watch consistently runs fast despite stable conditions, it may be magnetized. This is not uncommon and can result from exposure to magnetic fields from speakers, phones, computers, or other sources. Demagnetization is a relatively simple process to rectify this issue.


3,Why do quartz watches have second hand alignment discrepancies?

It's completely normal for manually assembled quartz watches to exhibit variations in second hand alignment. Even luxury brands like Tag, Omega, and Tissot may have similar discrepancies. This is a normal occurrence due to the necessary tolerances in the gear train of the movement and does not affect timekeeping accuracy.


4,Why does a newly received bronze watch have spots?

Bronze material naturally undergoes oxidation and discoloration. Fresh bronze material appears golden, but during the initial stages of oxidation, spotting and uneven coloration may occur.

BALTANY bronze watches are shipped in a brand-new golden state, and we ensure proper packaging. However, our packaging does not completely isolate the air,when you receive the watch, it may not exhibit the pristine condition of bronze material, leading to gradual oxidation to varying degrees. This is a characteristic of bronze watches and not a quality issue. You can use white vinegar soaking or wiping to remove surface oxidation layers.

Our website backend system does not include every country and region in the world. If your country is not listed in the dropdown menu on the checkout page, it doesn't mean that BALTANY cannot provide service to your country or region. Please select "Others" (as shown in the image) and continue with the checkout process.

If you select the "Others" option in the country/region list and successfully place your order, but our logistics provider cannot deliver to your requested country or region, rest assured, we will promptly contact you and provide a refund.


13,I really like the XXX model, but I need a watch without a logo. Is that possible?

Most of BALTANY's models offer dial customization services, so most of our watches can be produced without a logo on the dial. If you need a watch without a logo, you simply need to purchase the dial customization service additionally and mention "watch without logo" in the order notes.

However, please note that the production of customized watches requires a certain time period, which may result in delayed shipping.

The specific process is as follows: 1. Choose the model of the watch you need and select the color and options you prefer. 2. Click on "custom watch" to enter the custom watch service options page. 3. Select the Dial - "custom" option and add it to your cart. 4. If you are not satisfied with the watch you purchased, you can apply for a return for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving the parcel. However, we do not recommend this option as refunds do not include service fees charged by banks or PayPal, and you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, resulting in some loss for you.
